Biomedia began as a trading company in 1981, specializing in the marketing and distribution of biomedical and laboratory equipment. We have since grown to offer a much wider range of products and services that includes testing equipment and laboratory software solutions. Over the years, Biomedia has earned a reputation as a consistent and reliable distribution leader in the region for biomedical, laboratory and testing equipment. We are now the largest pre-poured media (PPM) manufacturer in Southeast to offer our own BML™ pre-poured culture media. In 2006, we have expanded our business to the manufacturing of generic pharmaceutical drugs, nutritional health supplement and personal hygiene products.
We are best known for providing microbiology culture media, biomedical, laboratory and testing equipment, and laboratory software solutions, but we deliver a much wider range of products and solutions to our customers. As an edge over our competitors, we provide turnkey solutions and consultation services to complement our products. Our Life Science Business Unit provides a total integrated laboratory solution to meet our customers' laboratory needs. While our Industrial Science Business Unit provides customers with a complete testing solution which are used everyday in almost all industrial sectors. Our strategy is to position ourselves as a reliable manufacturer and distributor, offering not only innovative and quality products and solutions but quality after sales services.

- Hemasoft Asia, a partnership between Biomedia Group and Hemasoft, offering laboratory software solutions to the medical sector in Asia in areas such as Blood Banking, Donor Management & Transfusion, Clinical Laboratory Test Management and Pathology Data Management.
- Labgistics provides logistics and operational support functions to our member companies in Singapore.
- QT Instruments provides testing equipment and solutions to the R&D laboratories in a wide range of industries such as medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, environmental and industrial companies to aid them in their quality control and assurance testing of their products.
- SPD Scientific markets and distributes a wide array of biomedical and laboratory equipment, microbiology culture media and diagnostics products, and laboratory consumables to the healthcare providers, academic and government research institutions, as well as biotechnology and industrial companies.
