Biomedia’s Board of Directors is chaired by Executive Chairman, David Chung Fun Choo who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Biomedia Group. Our Board is entrusted with the responsibility for the overall management of the Group.
Executive Directors
David Chung Fun Choo is our founding member and Chief Executive Officer, and was appointed to the Board on 27 April 2007. He is responsible for the overall operations, management, strategic planning and business development of the Group. He has been instrumental to the Group's business expansion since its inception. He has extensive experience in the biomedical and quality-testing industries gained from working with local and multinational organisations. Prior to the founding of the Group, he worked at the National University of Singapore from 1968 to 1978. He was then employed by Dynatech Singapore in 1980 and Abbott Laboratories in 1981.
Myra Chung Szan Dee is an Executive Director of Biomedia Group and was appointed to the Board on 27 April 2007. She is the Head of Marketing (Projects) of the Group, responsible for the overall management of QT Instruments and Hemasoft Asia. She started her career with the Group in 1996 as a Sales Executive and was promoted to Assistant Product Manager in 2000 and Sales Manager in 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) from Indiana University, USA.
Mabel Chung Cin Dee is an Executive Director of Biomedia Group and was appointed to the Board on 15 March 2006. She is also the Head of Operations of the Group, responsible for the overall operations, administration, warehousing and delivery activities of Labgistics Singapore and Labgistics Malaysia. She started her career in 1998 as a Sales Support Executive at SPD Scientific, where she was responsible for freight management, daily operational activities and administrative duties. She was promoted to Senior Operations Officer in Labgistics Singapore in 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Major in Marketing) from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia and a Diploma in Logistics Operations Management from Temasek Polytechnic.
